Fencers make all-Korean final

Two South Korean sabre fencers took the top two spots in an international tournament, for the first time in the country's history in the sport.

Oh Eun-seok beat his compatriot Bu Bon-gil 15-11 in the final of the Villa de Madrid tournament in Spain, Sunday.

Earlier, Oh, 27, defeated Aldo Montano of Italy 15-11 and Gu, 21, edged out Russia's Alexei Yakimenko, 15-14 in the semifinals.

After the all-Korean final, Oh saw his world ranking go up two notches to third, and Gu jumped from 15th to 11th place, with Nicholas Limback of Germany atop the list.
