Lee of Softbank Slams 2nd Homer

Lee Bum-ho of the Softbank Hawks hit his second home run in Japan in his team’s 11-6 loss to the Seibu Lions in Fukuoka, Thursday.

In his best performance in the Nippon Baseball League, the former Hanwha Eagles player hit a fastball off Lions reliever Ryoma Nogami for a two run home run in the fifth inning, to tie the game at 6-6. It was his second homer this season, after slamming the first on April 9 against the Nippon Ham Fighters.

The third baseman hit 3-for-4 in the game, raising his batting average from .194 to .250. Lee singled in the second and fourth innings.
