Kim Do-heon Returns to BlueWings

Former English Premier Leaguer Kim Do-heon has returned to K-League side Suwon BlueWings.

Suwon announced Tuesday that it had reached a three-year deal with his current club, but his transfer fee and salary were not disclosed.

The 27-year-old midfielder was loaned to then-Championship club West Bromwich Albion in February 2008.

However, the team was promoted to the Premier League in May and Kim agreed to a two-year deal to become the fifth South Korean footballer in the highest division in England.

However, he went down with a knee injury, which limited him to 16 games ― nine starts and seven substitutes ― in the 2008-09 season without any goals and Albion were relegated to the Championship again.

The only goal he scored for West Bromwich came in the fourth round match of the FA Cup.

The winger entered the league with Suwon in 2001 and moved to Seonanam Chunma in June 2005.

He has scored 25 goals set up 18 in 182 games in the K-League.
