The Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation (SOSFO) will host various festivals to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 1988 Seoul Olympics.

A commemorative ceremony will take place Wednesday at the Olympic Memorial Hall, which will be attended by Lee Yeon-tae, the president of the Korea Sports Council, and Park Se-jik, the chairman of the Seoul Olympics Organizing Committee, as well as several Olympic gold medalists.

Following the ceremony, the SOSCO will hold several displays, including a photo exhibition and a sculpture symposium titled ``8808 Outside In.''

The photo show will feature Korean athletes at the Olympics since their first appearance at the London Games in 1948, while ``8808 Outside In'' will exhibit work by sculptors who created art for the Olympic Park of the Seoul Olympic Games.

Star athletes, including swimmer Park Tae-hwan, weightlifter Jang Mi-ran and fencer Nam Hyun-hee, will meet fans to celebrate a publication called "Sports Star's Touching Story" at Olympic Park.

A walking festival will be held at the Olympic Park Saturday.
