Bus driver pulls over vehicle for passengers to take photo of double rainbow

A bus driver stopped his vehicle in the middle of a bridge in Seoul so passengers could take a photo of a rare double rainbow, according to an online community.
On Wednesday, a man, who identified himself as the driver of the 160 bus, recalled the incident that took place around 7 p.m. on July 19. After torrential rainfall stopped, a double rainbow appeared in the sky, which could be seen from Mapo, Yeongdeungpo and Gwanak districts.
“While running on Mapo Bridge heading from Mapo to Yeouido, I heard a lot of 'clicks' of camera shutters, so I peeked through the rearview mirror and saw almost all of the some 30 passengers were taking photos of the rainbow and sunset,” the driver wrote on Bobae Dream.
“I smiled and said, 'Do you want me to stop for a second?' It was a half joke and I expected the passengers to say 'no, it's okay,' but they unanimously said, 'Yes!'” he recalled.
As there were few other vehicles crossing the bridge, the driver stopped the bus, pulling it over safely and turning on the hazard lights.
“We started running again about 30 second later, and the passengers all said thanked me,” the driver wrote.
Internet users left comments that they were moved by the story. “You offered the passengers an unforgettable memory,” one wrote. “This is like a soap opera-like scene. The driver knows how to make people happy,” another wrote.
