K-pop boy band BTS, which stands for Bangtan Boys or Beyond the Scene, will promote the charms of Seoul beginning this month.

BTS is the first Korean idol group to win at the Billboard Music Awards. In May, the seven-member group was honored as the top social medial artist.

“BTS’ Seoul Life,” a video of the group enjoying Seoul’s attractions, will air in around 100 countries on TV, through networks such as KBS World and TVN Asia and online platforms such as YouTube and Facebook.

The one-minute video “Live Seoul like I do” shows the group hanging out at the overpass-turned-sky park Seoullo 7017, uploading posts on social media and waterskiing on the Han River.

They are also shown ordering at a famed restaurant as well as having fun at a concert in Jamsil Stadium.

BTS will continue to promote Seoul to the world and seek to attract global fans to the city.

The group’s second album “Wings” reached 26th on Billboard 200, the highest ranking for a K-pop album in 2016.

In March 2016, Forbes named the band the most retweeted musical act on Twitter. In June 2017, the group made Times magazine’s list of 25 most influential people on the internet.
