'Green citizen' program launched

Korea University, in collaboration with Seongbuk-gu office in Seoul, launched a “green citizen” training program Thursday to raise public awareness of environmental issues.

Participants in the program will attend lectures about climate change, sustainable energy and eco-friendly consumption for eight weeks at the university’s campus in Seoul.

They will also take part in environmental protection campaigns to be organized by the district office in July.
