Democratic Party of Korea (DPK) presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung was leading his People Power Party (PPP) rival Kim Moon-soo with 49.2 percent support against Kim's 36.8 percent, a survey showed Wednesday.
In a Realmeter survey conducted on 1,003 adults Monday and Tuesday, candidate Lee Jun-seok of the minor Reform Party came in third with 10.3 percent.
In a hypothetical two-way contest, the DPK's Lee garnered 52.3 percent, trailed by Kim with 41.7 percent. In a similar scenario against Lee Jun-seok, Lee Jae-myung led with 50.6 percent versus 36.7 percent for the Reform Party candidate.
The margin of error was 3.1 percentage points at a 95 percent confidence level.
Wednesday's survey serves as the last indicator of voter sentiment before election day as new opinion polls are now prohibited.
