VIDEO Candidate's daughter sexually harassed on campaign trail

Police in Seoul said Friday they began an investigation into a man suspected of sexually harassing the daughter of center-right presidential candidate Yoo Seong-min.

Investigators questioned the 30-year-old man who posed suggestively while taking a photo with Yoo Dam when she accompanied her farther on the campaign trail in southern Seoul the previous day.

In the photo, he put his arm around her shoulder, kept his face close to hers and stuck his tongue out. He posted it on the Internet.

Yoo Dam reportedly filed a complaint with district police against him.

She is widely popular due to her looks, improving the image of her father, who is running in the election representing the conservative Bareun Party.

The candidate's spokesman called for a thorough investigation, saying that the man appears to have acted with an unsavory intention. (Yonhap)
