People plunge into the cold water at the annual Haeundae Polar Bear Swim Festival held at Haeundae Beach in Busan, Sunday, the day of “Sohan,” one of 24 seasonal divisions when the cold weather peaks. Participants must swim 80 meters in the sea to complete the course. / Yonhap
