Billiards star Cha Yu-ram will marry bestselling author Lee Ji-sung on June 20.

“I was fascinated by her beauty, and then I fell in love with her intelligence and personality,” Lee wrote on his fancafe.

They started dating last year after Cha, 27, attended a book club and met him there.

“We met and fell in love with each other through books. Books, donations and serving others will be central to our lives.”

Cha, better known by her nickname “Billiards Goddess,” has won many titles since becoming a professional player in 2001. She played in the national team at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou. In 2011, she won the BSD World 9-Ball Open Tournament in Beijing.

Bestselling writer Lee published his first poetry book in 1997, and has since published more than 30 books crossing genres ― including poems, novels and humanities books.

“Lead by reading,” published in 2010, has sold more than 500,000 copies.

Cha went public with her relationship last October.

She said on a TV show, “He is the first boyfriend in my life.”
