Walking on overpass

People walk on an overpass connecting Malli-dong and Myeong-dong, central Seoul, Sunday. Cars were banned from traveling along the 400-meter-long overpass after it was opened to pedestrians and had artificial grass and yellow parasols installed. Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon plans to transform the overpass into a park. But merchants at Namdaemun Market are against the plan, claiming it would make it difficult to have easy access to the market, thereby causing their sales to drop. / Yonhap
