Too much sleep dangerous: study
More than eight hours’ sleep a day can put you at risk of dying early, a study finds.
According to the University of Warwick, people who sleep more than eight hours are more likely to die earlier than those who sleep for six to eight hours. The study was conducted on the sleep data of more than a million people and analysed mortality.
After 10 years, 30 percent of people who slept more than eight hours had died while 12 percent of those who slept less than six hours had died, the study found.
The researchers also said drinking too much coffee could be dangerous.
