Ice-cream at $820 a scoop

Dubai, known for its opulence, serves the world’s most expensive ice-cream.
The Scoopi Cafe’s “Black Diamond” ice-cream retails at 900,000 won ($820) for a single scoop.
The dessert, made from exotic vanilla ice-cream from Madagascar, Iranian saffron and slices of black Italian truffle, is topped with 23-carat edible gold. It is served in a Versace bowl that customers get to keep.
The city also holds the record for the priciest cocktail, a 7.9 million won ($7,194) drink served at the Burj Al Arab Hotel.
