Woman on ex-boyfriend bash charge

Police have arrested a woman for allegedly paying five men to beat her ex-boyfriend.

According to the Daegu Sungseo Police Department, a man, 32, surnamed Park, and two other men were arrested for violence and causing injuries, along with a woman, 38, surnamed Jang, for contract violence.

Jang was quoted as allegedly saying: "I had financial difficulties with my boyfriend, so I contacted a close friend that I frequently met and offered him 8 million won to beat up my ex-boyfriend."

Park had allegedly contacted former fellow prisoners to help him beat the man.

The five men allegedly assaulted the ex-boyfriend with baseball bats for two hours.
