Channel A, a cable TV network owned by Dong-a Ilbo, has aroused controversy over the use of the “Ilbe” logo in a television program.

“Ilbe” is an online community site that has a strong collective identity as conservative or right, often criticized for its harsh statements against the left.

On Jan. 7, “Park Jong Jin's Kwaedonanma” on Channel A, showed the logo by mistake during a story about a Seoul National University professor allegedly sexually harassing a student.

The university logo showed “ILBE TAS” instead of “VERI TAS.”
