The British accent is the most attractive in the world, according to a poll of 11,000 people in 24 cities around the world.
Britain led the way with 25.6 percent, ahead of American, Irish and Australian accents, The Time Out Global Dating Survey found. French, once considered the language of love, was relegated to fifth place.
But Paris was still considered the most romantic city, or the one with the best dating scene, followed by Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing and Chicago. London ranked sixth.
