Sometimes money can’t buy everything ― especially when you’re dressed in jeans and a T-shirt.

According to news network,

YTN

, a college student looking for a car was recently denied access to an imported car showroom.

“One of the dealers there said I couldn’t enter the store because it sells only ‘imported cars,’ not ‘domestic cars.’ I felt like I was being judged by what I looked like,” YTN quoted him as saying.

The man complained to the company’s customer service center, and received an apology.

“He looked like a student who was on his way home from an academy. I thought he was a high school student. I made a mistake, and I am to blame for that,” the news agency quoted the dealer as saying.

Reporters from the news agency visited several imported car stores to see their attitude. But things were no different.

When a “casually dressed” reporter entered some stores, they got the cold shoulder from dealers. One of the dealers even said that an appointment should be made in advance for a consultation.

But when a reporter wearing a suit visited the same store, the dealer showed a totally different attitude. The dealer welcomed the reporter, and kindly connected him to a salesman.
