Another 'selfie' taken in operating theater

Only a week after Chinese doctors were criticized for “surgery selfies,” pictures of a Korean medical team holding a birthday party in an operating theater is causing controversy.
A nurse at a large plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam, Seoul, posted pictures on Sunday of medical staff carrying a birthday cake and playing with prostheses in the theater. Some nurses were playing a game while four other staff were using surgical instruments to fix a bracelet.
On her Instagram, a photo-sharing application, the nurse described the photo as a “selfie,” or “in middle of surgery.”
The pictures were rapidly shared online and the nurse deleted her account.
The clinic is reportedly well known, with many advertisements at subway stations.
