Dog on tracks delays morning trains

A dog on the tracks delayed trains on Seoul’s subway line 2 for about 15 minutes on Monday morning.

The dog was spotted on the tracks between Sincheon and Jamsil stations at about 6:50 a.m., Yonhap News Agency reported.

Officials tried to capture the dog between Jamsil and Jamsilnaru station, but the animal ran away ― and vanished.

Seoul Metro officials said they were baffled about how the dog came to be on the tracks.

“A woman contacted us saying that the dog might be her lost dog, but we haven’t confirmed it yet,” said an official said.
