'Bad mood' teen smashes 21 cars

A Busan teenager has been charged with property damage after attacking 21 cars, and breaking into a supermarket to steal cigarettes, Munhwa Ilbo reports.

The youth, 18, caused five million won damage in about 25 minutes when he used rocks to smash the side mirrors and windows of 21 cars in a parking lot in Busan’s Haeundae area.

The incident happened on October 26.

Police tracked down the youth from thumbprints he left on a car.

The youth reportedly told police he smashed the cars because he was “in a bad mood.”
