Netizens support Noh Hong-chul after drunk-driving incident

A group of neitzens are pushing for Noh Hong-chul to remain as a host of popular variety show “Infinite Challenge,” after the comedian offered to step down over a drunk-driving row.
Noh apologized and offered to step down from shows he appears on, Saturday, after being busted the day before.
A petition on online portal Daum Kakao for Noh to remain as a host of Infinite Challenge had garnered 6,700 signatures as of Monday afternoon.
The petition, hosted by a netizen known only as “Mepisto” claimed that the Noh was being punished for making satirical comments in the past.
Police said they took a blood sample from Noh and sent it to the National Forensic Service for assessment after the star refused to take a sobriety test.
