JYP has no time for 'talented brats'

Music mogul and JYP Entertainment CEO Park Jin-young says his company has remained relatively free of controversy, and adds that this is because it “does not hire talented brats.”
“I don’t go for talented kids but only hire those with honesty and decent ethics,” said Park, according to a local news outlet.
He claimed that the only incident that marred JYP’s reputation was Nichkhun from 2PM, who was charged with driving while drunk in 2012.
Park claimed that his company forbids its talent from accepting cash payments for making public appearances or from visiting room salons, where women are paid to drink with clients.
“Infringing the rules means dismissal from the company,” said Park.
Park, 43, who made his debut as a solo singer with studio album “Blue City” in 1993, is busy preparing for a retrospective concert Saturday at Olympic Stadium Park, during which he and other musicians will perform his greatest hits.
He is also preparing for his new position as chief curator for Milk Music, Samsung’s new smartphone music app.
