A man who dropped out of a television fight survival show has been arrested for business meddling and human trafficking, a newspaper reported Monday.
Police in Mokpo, South Jeolla province, arrested the man, identified only as Choi, 25, for allegedly repeatedly disrupting operations at a bar since July to help a rival bar. Two accomplices allegedly helped Choi.
He is also charged with locking up a female employee from an unknown bar who wanted to quit because of health problems.
After his arrest it was found that Choi auditioned for cable network XTM’s “Crying Fist.” He had passed a regional preliminary stage in January but failed to advance.
