2NE1's lead rapper CL debuts US

2NE1’s lead rapper, Lee Chae-lin, better known by her stage name C.L., is set to make her debut in the United States, according to online media reports.
The singer has been taken on by a New York-based talent management company, Scooter Braun Management. The company also manages K-Pop superstar, Psy.
The company has welcomed the 24-year-old English speaker by posting her photo on its homepage with the message “Welcome to the SB projects family, CL!”
Owning two record labels, School Boy Records and Raymond-Braun Media Group (RBMG), Braun is a 33-year-old American talent manager. The most prominent singer under his management is Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber.
YG Entertainment, C.L.’s management company in Korea, previously hinted that the singer would make a U.S. debut in a recent interview with a local newspaper, saying she perform in the U.S. in early 2015. Since her breakthrough with the group’s digital single “Lollipop” in 2009, C.L. has been acknowledged in Korea as a talented vocalist, rapper and fashionista with charismatic charm.
