Man accused of throwing kimchi bags

A man was charged with property damage on Wednesday for throwing kimchi bags at a teahouse in Cheonan, Chungnam province, the Munhwa Ilbo reports.

The 58-year-old man was reportedly throwing kimchi bags on the floor while drunk at a teahouse in Cheonan on September 29, around 6:30 p.m. After making a mess, he urged staff to hand him back the 10-kilogram bag of kimchi worth 20,000 won. He was arrested Wednesday for property damage.

Police discovered that he has caused disturbances at the teahouse on countless occasions since 2008, usually when he was he was drunk.
