Domestic chores saddle young housewives

By Ko Dong-hwan
Housewives in their 20s spend more than 10 hours every day doing domestic chores and attending to their children, according to a survey by azoomma.com, an online community of married women.
In comparison, housewives in their 30s spent an average of 8.1 hours on the same activities, those in their 40s spent seven hours and those 50 or older spent six hours. Apparently, as children get older, the less attention they demand.
Nearly 80 percent of the 500 women questioned for the survey said they spent most time on things related to raising and educating their children.
About half of the respondents said cooking was a priority, while 26.4 percent thought home decoration was important.
Nearly 50 percent said also spent time studying ways to reinvest household income for more profit.
