Presidential office Cheong Wa Dae’s online homepage is drawing a second wave of visitors with another vilification directed at the president since the previous post on Monday led to a crash of the webpage.
Entitled “The president has violated the constitution,” the text was posted Sunday by a netizen who identified herself as a third-year high school student.
It opens with her emotional motivation which apparently compelled her to write it though doing so may pose threat to her life. She listed terms of the constitution she claims President Park Geun-hye violated during and after the Sewol ferry accident.
Some of the terms state that the nation’s sovereignty derives from its citizens; public workers serve and take responsibilities for citizens; the nation acknowledges and is responsible for securing citizens’ basic consecrated rights; and the nation must prevent natural disasters and protect citizens from their threats.
The writer concludes with a rhetorical question if President Park has anything to add to her argument.
