Gwangju City raided

A group of investigators raid the main office of Gwangju Metropolitan City Friday in an investigation into allegations that the southwestern city government forged signatures of key government officials in April to win a bid to host an international swimming competition. FINA, the international swimming body, announced last week the city as the host of the World Swimming Championships in 2019. But the central government filed a complaint against Gwangju for the alleged document forgery. / Yonhap
