Han reveals thoughts on husband's SNS scandal

Actress Han Hye-jin
Actress Han Hye-jin, who recently tied the knot with Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-yeung, expressed how she feels about her husband's controversial Facebook comments on former Korean national team manager Choi Kang-hee.
A press conference took place in Namyangju in time for the 100th footage of the "Healing Camp," a popular SBS talk show, Wednesday. Three hosts of the show, Han, Lee Kyung-kyu, and Kim Jae-dong were present.
"Actresses and athletes like my husband are constantly exposed to the public eye. There is no doubt that an act worthy of a beating is worthy of a beating," she said.
"We are going through a very hard time, but I'm sure there will come a time when we can make a new leap forward," she said. "It's important that we maintain stability. I will try hard to support my husband.”
Han and her husband tried not to get too excited about the immense attention that they have been receiving recently, Han told the press.
"I believe that we will be able to fight through whatever happens if we act with wisdom and courage," she added.
Soccer fans criticized Ki for his disparaging Facebook comments about Choi, for which he recently received a warning from Korea Football Association. Han had to go through the trouble of deactivating her personal website shortly after her wedding with Ki.
