Psy rises to 17th ranking on British charts with 'Gentleman'

Korean music star Psy has moved up 34 places on the British singles chart with “Gentleman,” following up with his world hit “Gangnam Style.”

According to Britain’s Official Chart Company, Gentleman moved into the Top 100 Singles Chart at 51th place and moved 34 places upward on June 17 to rank at 17th.

Gentleman initially registered in 10th place immediately after its launching in April but began to fall before it started to climb back on the upper scale.

Insiders said this is probably the result of active promotional programs.

Psy has been on numerous programs, including an appearance on “Britain’s Got Talent.”
