Just a few years ago, the popularity of talk shows surpassed any drama. It began with programs like the “Johnny Yoon Show” in the 1990s and they have been in a blitz.
No more. Actresses come on shows and tell all, about how they cohabitated with program directors and how they contemplated suicide. Nothing working.
According to a survey by Neilson Korea, “Moonlight Prince,” hosted by the ever-popular Kang Ho-dong, the former traditional Korean wrestling ssirum champion, chalked up a viewership of not more than 5.7 percent.
