Dog on fire… How much more cruelty can we bear?

A “dog on fire” dashed into the warehouse of a car maintenance shop, putting it ablaze.

An animal protection agency has put out a bounty for finding the culprit of this heinous “crime.”

According to the police in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, a dog which was completely on fire ran into the warehouse at about 5 p.m. Jan. 20.

Smoke spewed out of the warehouse10 minutes later and the proprietor of a nearby restaurant called 119 to report the incident.

The fire was put out in 50 minutes, leaving 26 million won ($23,000) in property damages.

Reviews of CCTV (close-circuit television) cameras showed the burning dog running into the property. The dog was found dead at the scene.

The police have referred the case to the scientific investigation unit but no evidence as to how the event developed has been found.

Coexistence of Animal Rights on Earth, an animal rights protection group, has put out a bounty of 3 million won ($2,700) for information leading to identifying the person or persons behind the brutality.
