New Japanese ambassador

Koro Bessho, the new Japanese ambassador to Seoul, answers reporters’ questions upon arrival at Gimpo International Airport in Seoul, Tuesday. Bessho said, “Despite several difficulties, I think my duty is to overcome them and build desirable bilateral relations.” He replaces Masatoshi Muto who returned to Japan after a two-year stint earlier this month. / Yonhap
