Tiger Woods reportedly paid half a million dollars to his secret mistress.

According to the News of the World in the United Kingdom, Tiger Woods paid half a million dollars to buy the silence of a blonde British mum who has been his secret mistress for 18 months.

His secret mistress, Emma is a 42-year-old mother of two and she was told to have the image of Woods' wife Elin.

Woods first met her at Orlando's Blue Martini Club, in May 2008. After exchanging the numbers, they kept their relationships for 18 months.

A source close to Woods told the News of the World, "Emma was his most recent mistress. They had a very, very passionate relationship. He adored Emma and loved the sex.

"Emma was pretty confident her secret would never get out but there are just too many people who knew about the affair," the source concluded.
