Beckham Groped

David Beckham had his strangest interview to date on Jan. 20 when a female TV presenter groped him inappropriately while he gave an interview outside a Milan hotel.

Elena Di Ciocci from the satirical show Le Iene (The Hyenas) wore yellow rubber gloves and tried to compare the real deal to what was displayed in David's Armani ads.

Although David looks taken aback in the video, a spokesman for him says it's not a big deal.

``We have no issue with it. It did surprise him at the time, but David saw it for what it was ― harmless fun," spokesman Simon Oliveira said, adding, "She didn't actually grab it, it was an attempt. She just got his trouser leg."

베컴 여 리포터에 성희롱 당해

축구스타 데이비드 베컴이 20일 저녁 밀란 호텔 밖에서 인터뷰를 갖는 도중 황당한 사건에 휘말렸다. 그를 취재하던 한 여성 리포터로부터 성희롱을 당했기 때문이다.

이탈리아의 풍자 TV 프로 '르 레느'의 엘레나 디 치오치는 노란 고무장갑을 끼고 베컴이 찍은 "아르마니 속옷광고의 진실"을 알아내기 위해 베컴에게 접근해 순식간에 그의 가랑이를 만졌다.

당시 장면이 찍힌 영상에서 그는 갑자기 벌어진 상황에 크게 당황한 듯 보였지만 이후 베컴 측은 대수롭지 않다는 반응을 보였다.

베컴의 에이전트 사이먼 올리비에라는 "우리는 이 일에 대해 문제 삼지 않으며, 물론 당시에는 무척 놀랐지만 데이비드는 그것이 악의 없는 장난이었다는 것을 이해한다"고 밝혔다. 그는 이어 "리포터가 정말로 만진 것이 아니다. 바짓가랑이를 잡았을 뿐"이라고 덧붙였다.
