Most Marriable Woman

British actress Rachel Weisz has been selected as the woman that men would most like to marry in a poll conducted by Esquire Magazine.

The 39-year-old actress beat off stiff competition from Keira Knightley and Kate Winslet, who came second and third respectively, to take the title.

Rachel Weisz, who is engaged to Darren and has a three-year-old son with him, said, "Oh my God! To marry? That's interesting. That's so funny. I'm marriable. But I'm not married. I was getting worried that the men didn't like me anymore."

She gained wide public recognition after her portrayal of Evelyn "Evy" Carnahan-O'Connell in the films ``The Mummy'' and ``The Mummy Returns.'' Her performance in The Constant Gardener (2005) won her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

대런 애로노프스키 감독과 약혼해 세살 난 아들을 두고 있는 그녀는 이번 선정결과에 대해 "하느님 맙소사! 결혼? 아주 재미있는 결과다. 더 이상 남성들의 관심을 끌지 못할 줄 알았는데…"라며 "이제는 남자들이 나를 싫어할까 봐 걱정하지 않아도 좋을 것 같다"고 말했다.

와이즈는 영화 '미이라' 1, 2 시리즈로 세계적인 스타로 거듭났고, 2005년 '콘스탄트 가드너'로 아카데미 여우조연상을 수상했다.
