A Korean man has been arrested on charges of killing his Korean girlfriend at their home in the City of Angeles in the northern Philippines.
According to
Thursday, the man, 25, surnamed Hwang, was arrested for allegedly killing his live-in partner, 23, surnamed Lim, at their residence near Marquee Mall.
When police found her body in the bathroom on Dec. 15, it was wrapped in a bed sheet and had several stab wounds. They also found blood stains on the floor. The victim was thought to have been killed “seven to 10 days ago,” they said.

, surveillance camera footage shows that she entered the building at 6:05 a.m. on Dec. 1.
Local police said they are working with the Korean Embassy to notify the families of the man and the victim in Korea.
