Three injured in Gimhae motel fire

Three people were injured in a fire at a motel in Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province early Tuesday. The blaze also damaged part of the eight-story building.

The blaze was reported at 1:53 a.m. Firefighters rescued 34 guests and put out the fire in about 30 minutes.

Three people were taken to hospital after inhaling toxic fumes. Officials are investigating what caused the blaze.
