Man 'masturbated in women's restrooms'

A man has been caught masturbating in women’s restrooms in Busan, police said Sunday. The man, 28, is also suspected of having ejaculated on a mop in one of the restrooms.

He is under investigation for possible violation of sex crime laws.

Busan Yeonje police said the man sneaked into three women’s restrooms at a Busan-based university and masturbated there between Nov. 7 and 10.

A memo allegedly written by him was found at a restroom on Nov. 7. It read: “There is something you would be excited to see at a women’s restroom in the student union building.”

There was a mop head dotted with sperm-like liquid, according to police.

Another memo was found on Nov. 10, which read: “I sprayed my sperm in a toilet on the second floor of a women’s restroom in the school headquarters.”

A third memo with similar content was found hours later at another restroom.

Police traced the suspect through video footage from 30 closed-circuit televisions.

They said the man admitted what he had done, claiming that it was to reduce stress from work.
