Five injured in gas explosion

Five people were injured in the explosion of a gas can at an outdoor camping area in North Gyeongsang Province, Saturday. It happened at 9:45 a.m. when the campers at the site were preparing breakfast. They suffered minor burns.

“I heard the sound of a loud explosion in the morning,” a camper who witnessed the accident told the police. “The area instantly turned chaotic with people screaming all over the campsite.”
