For over a decade, Itaewon’s popular Texas-inspired American bar, Southside Parlor, has been serving up some “South in your mouth!” They are known for their tasty Southern-inspired menu, laid-back atmosphere and award-winning cocktails.
Southside Parlor is located across the street from Noksapyeong Station on Seoul Metro Line 6. Patrons of Southside Parlor are welcomed to a warm and inviting restaurant and bar atmosphere. The bar itself is the clear focal point of the establishment, and with obvious reason, as the drinks are among the very finest made in Seoul.

Southside, as it’s more commonly abbreviated, blends Western-style hospitality with Eastern-style cocktail techniques. Owners and resident mixologists Robbie, Bobby and Phil are known far and wide for their incredibly imaginative and well-crafted cocktails. They make just about anything your heart could desire and honestly there isn’t a poor choice on the menu ― literally everything is sweeter than stolen honey.
With all of the tasty cocktail options on the menu, you should probably make sure you get something to eat. Southside serves “Tex-Mex,” a delicious fusion of Texan and Mexican flavors featured in their lineup of tacos and nachos, as well as bar classics like burgers and wings.

Southside is known for their tacos, and they have options for all diets. The Fried Chicken Tacos are the most popular menu item with crispy fried chicken thighs, homemade pico de gallo, smoked queso, fresh cilantro and a spicy sriracha mayo. They also serve veggie-friendly Fried Broccoli Tacos and cornmeal fried Catfish Tacos.
The Southside Burger is served on their signature bun with a 160-gram beef patty grilled to sweet perfection and then loaded up with caramelized onions and melted sharp cheddar cheese. A gang of their seasoned Creole Fries is served on the side, which are so good. The Fried Chicken Sandwich is a relative newcomer to the menu and also really good.
Southside Parlor is popular with just about everyone, but especially with locals, travelers, pet owners and the LGBTQ community. They even have a rooftop space which is perfect for families. It is a great place to relax and enjoy a well-made cocktail with friends. The bar is also known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is always happy to help customers choose the perfect drink.

Southside Parlor is open daily from 6 p.m. to midnight every day of the week except Monday, but closes its kitchen for delivery at 10 p.m. You can skip the queue, pay online, and place pickup and delivery orders in the greater Yongsan area in Seoul using the Shuttle app or shuttledelivery.co.kr.
