KOTESOL to Meet Sept. 19
The Seoul chapter of Korea Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (KOTESOL) will focus on assessment techniques at its latest meeting Sept. 19.
The group, whose aim is to improve English-language teaching in Korea, will hear group executive and Seoul chapter President Mary-Jane Scott speak about assessment rubrics ― lists of relevant criteria used to evaluate student performance in a particular task and which, according to the group, result in greater assessment objectivity.
The meeting will take place at the Sookmyung Professional Center at Sookmyung Women's University in Yongsan, Seoul, from 3 to 5 p.m.
