NGO to Host Photo Scavenger Hunt

NGO ``Little Travellers'' will host a scavenger hunt Saturday, kicking off at City Hall subway station, exit 5, at 1:30 p.m.

Tasks will require teams to solve riddles, master Amazing Race-inspired challenges and visit famous landmarks.

Little Travellers are beaded pins made by women affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa. Each pin is individually handcrafted and unique. These women are part of an income generation project through the Hillcrest AIDS Center. Each pin is sold for 5,000 won, with all proceeds going directly to South Africa to benefit both the crafter and the AIDS center. The group was founded in Canada.

All proceeds go to fight HIV/AIDS in the KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa, an area with one of the highest HIV infection rates in the world.

Registration details: Teams of four people. Each team is required to have two digital cameras with a video capture option.

Individuals can register and receive help finding a team

Registration must include team name, team captain, names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses. (individual registration: name, phone number and e-mail address) Entry Fee: 15,000 won per person

The group will reconvene at Mike's Cabin in Shinchon at 5:30 p.m. for viewing photos, dinner, drinks and prizes.
