Morning temperatures to fall as low as minus 15℃ Monday

Morning temperatures were expected to fall as low as minus 15 degrees Celsius in parts of the country Monday, with daytime highs remaining between minus 1 degree and 6 degrees above zero, forecasts showed Sunday.
Temperatures were forecast to fall as much as minus 15 degrees in parts of Gangwon Province and 10 degrees or more in the country's central region, and parts of North Jeolla and the Gyeongsang provinces.
Daytime temperatures were also expected to dip below freezing in major cities, with the temperature in Seoul forecast between minus 9 degrees and zero degrees Celsius, minus 9 degrees and minus 1 degree in Incheon, and minus 5 degrees and 6 degrees above zero in Busan.
But temperatures were expected to recover to annual average levels Tuesday, with morning temperatures forecast at minus 8 degrees Celsius and 0 degrees Celsius.
Daytime highs were also expected to rise over zero across the country Tuesday, staying between 1 and 9 degrees. (Yonhap)
