Job News Seoul to run free e-commerce class for foreigners

Seoul will offer an educational program to teach foreign residents how to set up an online shopping mall in Korea.

From Nov. 14-25, Seoul City will provide a “Practical Startup Class for Online Shopping Mall” at the Dongdaemun Global Center.

The class, for 25 selected foreigners, will run for three hours from 6.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

Attendees will learn how to analyze international markets, select items and target customers, and study successful examples in international markets.

Applicants can download an application form from the official website of Seoul Global Center (global.seoul.go.kr) and submit the form with a copy of their certificate of alien registration via email (thdusl01@sba.seoul.kr) or mail (Dongdaemun Global Center, 27, Mareunnae-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul) by Oct 31.

Those with level 4 or above in the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) can attend.

Seoul City will select 25 applicants through document evaluation and interviews.
