K-pop idol Seungri, 26, has filed a complaint with the prosecution against singer Shin Eun-sung for alleged fraud.

In the complaint, Seungri, a member of K-pop group Big Bang, claimed that Shin promised high returns if he invested in her real estate business in June 2014, according to the Seoul Eastern Prosecutors’ Office, Tuesday.

Seungri initially handed over 2 billion won ($1.7 million). Shin allegedly asked him for an additional investment to establish the company two months later and received another 50 million won from him.

However, Shin allegedly did not even start the business for more than a year after Seungri’s investment, the she suddenly disappeared. So Seungri filed a complaint on Dec. 29.

“Seungri was shocked by the incident,” said an official of YG Entertainment, Seungri’s agency. “It’s Seungri’s personal problem but YG Entertainment will deal with this together with him to get it straightened out.”

Shin debuted with her first album titled, “Go Away,” in 2003 and had been operating an entertainment agency when she asked Seungri to invest in her real estate project. The agency, though, was recently shut down.

Big Bang is scheduled to tour three cities in Japan between January and February.
