Jogye leader asks for restraint
Ven. Jaseung, leader of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism asked the police to stop its plan to arrest Han Sang-gyun, head of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions.
”It does not help to resolve conflict,” said Jaseung. “It will only create additional friction,” he said.
The leader of the largest Buddhist sect in Korea said that he and the members will decide upon Han’s status by tomorrow.
