Police arrest Indonesian suspected of terror link

Police are questioning an illegal immigrant with Indonesian nationality suspected of following a terrorist group.

The National Police Agency (NPA) said Wednesday officers had arrested the man, 32, at his house in South Chungcheong Province on charges of violating the Immigration Control Law and forging documents.

The man is also suspected of supporting the al-Nusra Front, a terrorist group fighting Syrian government forces in the Syrian civil war, police said.
