Fine dust alert - The Korea Times

Fine dust alert

The Seoul Metropolitan Government issued a fine dust advisory at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Yangcheon-gu, western Seoul, showed a high concentration.

The dust has been blamed on air pollutants blown from Beijing and accumulated fine dust because of the congested atmosphere, according to the city government.

This is the sixth fine-dust advisory this year.

"Citizens with respiratory illnesses or cardiovascular disorders, senior citizens and children should refrain from going out and should wear masks when engaged in outdoor activities," a city official said.
